89 LTD looks really nice!

...and it sure is. I got it from one of our forumers about a month ago. I think that there are aprox. 120 of these made and this is #43. Definitely a keeper.

And you have pretty nice collection of SS's! I hope to find a good deal on fretted SS4 (pre '90) someday.

Can I join? Pictures from a store:

Hi Guys,

I have pretty the same action of the bridge setup like it's shown in the picture above and I can't get the 5th low B string in tune, cause I have to pull out the spring to go backwards a bit more.
Anyone knows is it normal thing to do or that means that there's something wrong with the neck setup?

Btw I'm using usually non tapered Low B string, might be this is the problem?

Thanks in advance

I had to do the same thing to my old Corvette Standard 5 back in the day. Nothing to worry about.

Edit: I don't recall if I was using a tapered or non-tapered B-string at that point. I was mostly using Warwick Black Labels then, so in those the B is tapered.

HI guys - need some advice - anyone had a problem with output soket (output jack)? My Monster cable keeps falling out, while my cheap cable holds... Im thinking about replacing the socket, should I focus on a certain brand? Like Switchcraft? Im not sure what types of sockets there are and dont wanna mess up my SSII :)

Hi Vaclav, and welcome to the forum. Yes, the output jack is something you need to change from time to time. Be sure you buy one with the same size.

Hi all, I dont say much around the forum but i am on here an awful lot and ive learned so much from just reading old posts. I had a question that seemed suitable for the streamer club as ive been trying to save up some $$ to replace my streamer pro M in my avatar (that i had to let go of for finacial reasons) with either a streamer lx or jazzman but it seems the jazzman is no longer available in 5 string. i was just wondering the thought process for that. was it a slow mover in that form? why limit it to 4 strings?

The model will be discontinued. the 5 strings version will follow soon, but they will be available in Custom Shop, don't worry.

The Jazzman 5 is already under discontinued basses (incredible)

I think Flo meant that the 4 String will follow soon
