Do the piezo's add anything to the bass?
Yes, definitely! I have never loved soapbar pickups alone, but mixed with the piezo pups and the preamp control options, I’m loving the tones. The preamp controls are set up as such:

4 Controls clockwise:

1. Stacked master volume / blend for the magnetic pickups with usual push/pull for active/passive

2. Midrange

3. Stacked Bass / Treble

4. Stacked knob:
Top = piezo master volume
Bottom = magnetic / piezo pickup blend with a center click

Just picked up this sweet lefty 1996 Streamer LX. Pickups were replaced with Barts at some point but everything else appears original. A little tlc with Howard feed n wax and it’s looking pretty great. My first good bass was a 1997 corvette, so this is the kind of thing I think of when I think Warwick: wenge neck, original just a nut, and natural oil finished awesomeness.

That’s a beautiful bass! It’s in great shape. I would love an early 5er. Enjoy your new bass!

Got such a nice offer for that beauty that I wasn't able to pass on. She's been through a lot and is definitely a "Player" but still what a beauty. 1988 Streamer Stage I.

Neck broke years ago but was professionally repaired before the last owner bought it and sold it to me.
