=The Warwick Streamer Club=

My current favourite. 2006. The body is half flame maple and half swamp ash with a black veneer between. BO. The g string was not responsive matching the other strings. Got some advice. Replaced the string, raised the pickup, checked the string height. All good now. The missing tone meant I did not play it as much as my custom Polaris Merlin. Now Im getting to know it. I nearly sold it.

Hi Eoin

Is that a Streamer Jazzman ?

what is it's string spacing ? it looks "wider" than other Warwicks

I am back in the Warwick family! After selling this 1989 Streamer back in 2011, i recently saw it for sale locally. It had been made fretless at some point in time, but my luthier put in some new Warwick frets. Truly happy I got it back. It sounds really great!

Hi, my first post I think...I have a 1986 Streamer, all original except for the nut. I'd like to install a Just-A-Nut III. The nut on there now measures 40mm (1 9/16) wide. This is wider than both versions of the currently available Just-A-Nuts which are 38.5mm wide. Does this mean I can't use a Just-A-Nut on this bass?

Thanks,
Jeffrey

Lovely Streamer !
From the photo, it appears that the nut is wider than the neck. Hence, you should be able to put a Warwick brass nut III (with 38,5 mm).

Thanks for responding BrusselsBass. The pic doesn’t show it, but that nut is actually a bit more narrow than the fingerboard, but it works.

Is there any consensus about whether it’s better to put the original JAN I on these vintage Streamers as they were originally, or the modern JAN III?

Didn't get around to fixing the dents and the frets, i did polish them, but this is a player!
Bought it for as much as a new Sire bass...
That is an incredible deal. They must not have known what they had to part with it at that price.

He did, he bought it for the same price as I did but he was moving across the ocean so he had to get rid of it fast.
