=The Warwick Streamer Club=

Gorgeous! You are a happy man to get back such a beauty... But it`s very interesting that not all older SS II turn that nice chocolate-brown. Mine got the same colour, but I saw several still retaining the original amber...

Barts & the 2 band were probably stock.

Agreed; the best and most reliable way to check is to look at the soldering on the pots (ignore the jack socket as that often gets replaced on a well used bass with this type of barrel socket) and decide for yourself if it looks like it has been tampered with or resoldered. It is unlikely (virtually impossible) for the Warwick staff to tell you if it went out of the factory with Barts (the 2 band MEC is absolutely period correct) as records weren't kept of stuff like that.

Can i be a "guest" member......

Sweet sweet stage 1 you had Rob. I LOVE those wenge necked models.
Your guitarist had quite a cool mullet happening too. When was this? the mid to late 80's?

Beautiful Bass! Welcome:)

Flo, why does it have a different body shape compared to a LX?

Because the Streamer Bolt On has a 3 piece body. The 'wings' are just regular SS2 wings glued onto a central block of wood. The LX has a 2 piece body and as such is/was a new design.

My custom LX5 with a bubinga pommelé body has a 3 piece body... Just sayin'.

just got this baby off ebay! should be here by end of the week hopefully! Itll sit nicely next to the stage II

Nice catch! I usually don't like streamers (no offense=) but that thing is kewl

Best part is I got it for $720 shipped cuz it didn't have a rear cavity cover and the janii is.... Well a just a nut ii
