what pups are in that thumb? also there is a beautiful hunk of bubinga in that

Thank you! The pups are Joe Bardens... a bit beefier and a bit darker than the MECs to my ear. The previouse owner installed them - I'm just the beneficiary :)

only a question for others similar owners: my bridge pickup seems to have a lower output volume than the neck pickup. on my fender jazz both pickups have a balanced volume. does your basses got hte same problem?!

Very common occurrence (not just Warwick basses), this happens because their is less string vibration for the pup to sense as the string is closer to the bridge node point. Try adjusting the bridge pup closer to the strings or/and dropping the bridge further from the strings till you get a balance.

Really nice looking 'transition' SSI btw! ;)

Thanks for sharing Vobo, that's a nice collection! So you have a 85 Streamer, and you are the original owner? Wow!

Hi Florin,

yes, I'm the original owner. I bought it in 1985 cause I wanted to play aP1030196.JPGP1030197.JPGP1030198.JPGP1030210.jpgP1030199.jpgP1030200.JPG german made bass and Warwick was a new company and Horst Stachelhaus (RIP), author and bassplayer, recommended the Warwick Streamer. That's it.
Now I have been playing the Warwicks ever since. Here are some pics of the "grandfather of all Streamers".
As you can see, I've modified the #316-Streamer. I changed the saddle to a Just-A-Nut and the EMG's have been replaced by MEC. Since changing batteries took too much time (especially on stage) I had a separat battery compartment made by Warwick. By the way, all modifications have been made by Warwick. The service have always been excellent through the years. Because I have all the original parts (saddle, EMGs.....) it's no prob to rechange the Bass into its original state (execpt the compartment, of course). Before playing the Streamer I had played a 1975-Fender Preci. I think, it's worth showing it here, too. I still play this bass sometimes on stage along with the Streamers.

Keep on groovin'

Another Streamer Stage II owner

Hi, I´m from Czech Republic and here is my Yin-Yang Streamer Stage II beauty. When I saw the Yin-Yang inlays on the neck I decided to use these symbols on the knobs and on the strap as well. I like the combination od black hardware and black DR strings, but the most important is the sound of the thunder. I play Phil Jones Bass rig, it is nice combination of instrument and amp perfection.

Whoa thats beast looking bass you've got there !Khwe
