Show Us Your Non- Warwick Bass Then!

Jazz. You mean it must be 19mm. May be. Nice oldie.
My friend have Framus with 2 jazz pickups. The thing sounds better than any Jazz bass I have ever heard. And he bought it for EUR 150,00..

Sanded, oiled and painted. Have to find a way to protect the bass from dust when spray painting.
I keep it in that crappy state 'cuz I'm lazy and don't care much about it, but... next time, I'll try chrome paint :-)

Ah, just saw your post. 16,5 mm was right! The pickup is much broader than the strings. Look at the polepieces I mean. The strings are not between them, but more narrow.

:) Thanks !

Almost bought this beautiful 70's Cort but, except looks, I have no idea what to do with it ?! Still thinking, I really like it, but for sure, will not play it, ever.. I may put it on the wall like pic, but again, it is crazy, MM is in case for years, Cort on the wall would be the last thing I really need..

as the stageI 4string is an absolutely good bass i always never came clear with them for some reasons. since the last two years i recognize that i still love the simple tone of one split-coil in a bass. till then i opened up my eyes back to fender after a long time break.
my past playing fender was a adventure which ended up selling them all (jazzbasses and kingman). so i took my time researching and testing precision-basses and wanted to start this time with a secondhand american standart or a japan-model from the 90's. missed a good offer last summer but finally found this yesterday for a very cheap price and bought it right away...
i'm blown away such as my luthier!!! kicked some american ass at his shop as well with this thing.
so here we are;

1993/94 fender precision bass reissue 70-78 crafted in japan (fujigen), with american vintage splitcoil and rosewood fretboard.

So was looking at a used Warwick, when I saw this in the store. I tried it out, and couldn't resist.

Music Man Stingray.

I think it was time I got something different in the armoury! This does mean that my next bass will be a Warwick, though :P
