Show Us Your Non- Warwick Bass Then!

No clips needed, we all know and love Unicorn farts! The so called Brown Tone! Just open the window next time U play your gear and we all will hear it!

No joke: clips are obligatory!

Brown tone? Isn´t that the way Eddie Van Halen calls his guitar sound?

This is a little off topic right now, I will compensate for this by posting some non-Warwick basses this evening. But Nacho, you deserve an answer to your question:

After i've sell the last Warwick (the '89 Thumb Fretless) i've start to buy some italian liuter's bass, here it is a Biarnel Scorcio :)

(And yes, i miss the wengè neck :( )

Wow , no more Wicks Davide ! too bad mate . Nice bass by the way .

Indeed 'tis a sad day. But that's a pretty bass! I never owned a short scale, but that little Italian headless has me reconsidering. Is that body chambered?

It's strange because i want a Warwick but i don't know wich ahah :D... Anyway, this is a standard scale (i recently bought another Scorcio but "32 scale) and yes, it has a chambered body for an unbelivable weight of 2.8 kg :)

No wick for Davewick ? Hm. Not for long, probably.

Here my ESP Ltd. B 208 8-string. Nice bass with a nice sound. But the edges of the frets had to be smoothened. Selling a bass with a flamed topwood, but cutting-sharp edges of the frets? Now it´s all fine, the problem was solved quickly.

Awesome bass, man. Those ESPs look so cool. Love the double tailpiece too.

Nice looking bass, man. This is one of the options I´m considering since Warwick is not offering an 8-string Rockbass(and to be honest, I don´t think it will happen).

Is that St. Nicholas, the right icon on the wall ?
I thought only my countryman have St. Nicholas icon...

St. Nicholas was a gift actually.

Ric has the personality and personality goes long way :)
WOW

WOW

The Ric is good to show off and has the "big tone", but do not underestimate the Ltd. Much more easy to play,
a very clear tone, a very good 8-string-sound. Perfect ergonomics, no hissing of the pickups. Only the frets were sharp-edged and needed some attention. 479,- EUR for a new one, really a good deal.

Boosh!
Mayones Jabba 5.

Aguilar OPB-3 with Delano pickups.
Kinda wish it had a pickguard though, preferable a chrome one :(
Can't buy one from Mayones, I'd have to ship the body to them for fitting...
