Show Us Your Non- Warwick Bass Then!

Edit: Back on four basses (although I am trying to sell one)...

Eugen bass

Here is a pic of my newest bass, a Eugen Paragon Custom.
Raimond-Eugen-Paragon.jpg

As you can see it's inspired by my love for Warwick, with a Warwick bridge, knob placement, it has a wenge neck with a couple of maple stripes, but pau ferro fretboard. Bartolini CBC pickups and Bart preamp. If you look closely you can see that it even has Warwick frets! I love those frets.

Here is my latest aquisition:-)

Can you compare Pedulla with Thumb ?
Congratulations man.

Lots of sexy basses in this thread lately. Here's the terrible trio in higher quality:

Here are a couple of shots of my tone monsters.

A custom body (maple) with early 80's Kramer aluminum neck, same era DiMarzio pickup and bridge (BadAssII).

I got the inspiration from this photo.

A modernized version of the same shape. Another custom body (Gongalo Alves + European alder) with early 80's Kramer aluminum neck with gongalo alves fretboard, EMG's PJ pickups and a Hipshot bridge.

Looking to identify this old Framus bass. Any help is welcome.

Ok, I will identify it:
It is an old Framus bass!

:)

Please open a new topic with this bass in the Framus Vintage section, so our friend Andreas will see it, and if this model can be identified, he will do it, he knows his stuff!
Cheers,
Flo

I would be nice, Jouko, if you get inspiration from this pic, instead:

Here's my latest non-Warwick bass:

It's a Cremona SB1 (cheap beginner's upright) but very special to me as it was an anniversary present as well as something I've wanted for over 25 years. It was just sent away to get properly setup today and should (hopefully) have it back next weekend. I won't subject any of you to my playing on it just yet LOL!!!

My Ibanez basses. :x

LOL Mister Moralez!

Anyway here's my new Nate Mendel sig Precision featuring a slimmer neck profile, qp pickup and Badass II bridge (which is also on the Marcus Miller Jazz).

What can I say? It sounds like a Precision. Did the setup myself thus it plays like a dream. *cough*

Differences between these basses?

The jazz sounds spectacular in certain music and has a slap tone that is second to none. It drowns completely in a hard rock mix though since it sounds pretty scooped.
The precision is exactly the oposite. It does not sound very spectacular by itself but really shines in a hard rock mix where its presence makes the whole band sound more organic and tight.
The Ric is my best non-Warwick bass guitar qua sound. Great slap tone, great presence, great low end, great midrange growl. Downside is it is not a comfortable bass and I have to work real hard to play the more intricate stuff on it.
The Dolphin I do not have to discuss other then that it doesn't do oldskool tones.

Marco haz new Pee-Bass...

Congrats, looks great in red wine.
