    Sh!t, I don't know.
Yeah, that kind of blue doesn't set well in the light. Mine's Midnight blue, so in the wrong light it looks black.

Here is a pic of the new to me Yamaha BBG5S. I had one of these 7 years ago as my first five string bass guitar (and it is has been sitting in my garage in pieces forever, waiting to be rebuilt and refinished). Since I am worried that the neck, etc are too far gone, I jumped at the chance to snatch the exact same one up again used from ebay to make me happy in case my rebuild doesnt go as planned.

Yes, I realize the string is wound the wrong way on the D tuning peg.

Here are some pics and vids of my Epiphone Explorer. Always wanted an Explorer-style bass, but after 8 months I've decided to sell it. It just doesn't fit in my collection (i.e., it's not a Warwick, LOL).;)

@ Gastrok: very kewl clippie man ... I once had a Gibson Explorer geetard (a black and white one just as Dave Grohl had in these dayz) but I sold it cause it felt (and played) totally uncomfortable compared to my other (Fender) geetardz ... waz that maybe da reason why U sold thiz bass too ?

@Herbie: that thing lookz awesum man, but U know, imho a bass haz 4 stringz ... ... and erm, can we haz (sound) clippie pleaze ?

@Gastrok: Lovely stryk... I mean, Explorer.

@CHTB: Pedulla basses are so amazing that they don´t even need strings to sound. :D

It sounds better without strings because it doesn't allow me to play poorly on it... :D

I am not fretless type of bassist but this one bought me on first tone. Couldn't believe what tone came out of this.

I guess the Corts that the rest of the world gets are not the same as the ones we get in the states. The only ones I have seen here are the really cheap ones sold in music stores for $150.

My 2 beloved Fender American Deluxe J-basses with ash body. Those basses were my companions for 10 years. Great basses with huge sound, unfortunately way less versatile than my Wicks.
Still have'em but they get very few playtime
