Helpppppppp on buyin a thumb ....

I need some helpppp...and coments ...

Im going to buy a warwick thumb nt 5 string used...i know this basses have ebony fingerboard ..so ..the one im going to buy is more clear the color of the fingerboard ...i think is wenge if u can see this pictures u can see and tell me if this is other wood or something....so the question is when warwick make this wenge fingerboard change instead ebony ...and if somebody have one tell me about the sound and feel ...with these wood...

And the second doubt is that this bass have just a nut 2 and one of the sides is broken... Theres some kind of trouble until i get the new one to replace im thinkin in just a nut 3...or i can use it until i do the replacement ...without worry for some kind of trouble or displacement of the piece broken? ...im posting some photos of this bass ...sorry for my english im from argentina ...so ill apreciate some comments and help ..

Hi, and welcome to the forum!
The bass in the picture has wnge fingerboard, we used to make it like that. This one sounds a little bit warmer, the new ones with ebony fingerboard have some added top end.
JAN2 broken wing- no problem, you don't even need to replace it!

My JA2 has both wings broken and when I change strings it always falls off and I have to put it perfectly in the middle again or i'll be super frustrated... :x

In passive mode you have volume and pan!

Important to remember that is is a preamp bypass switch, rather than active/passive. Active pickups so the bass is never passive
