Hi guys, i am gonna bring my Thumb BO6 to a local event and ask the VIP to sign on the bass.

should I ask for signature on the front or back of headstock? Not sure about signing on the body, bcz i will need to wax the body. What type of pen? How to protect the signature?

Hmm.. back of the headstock would look better. But with the natural finish that requires the wax, if the back of the headstock has been waxed, any sort of pen may not work (it will be writing on wax, not wood).

What about a silver marker on the inside of the cavity cover ? Especially considering you may need to have it repaired by a luthier due to the crack...
