My first ABG :)

pretty happy with the unplugged volume output

I had the El Cheapo version by Olympia. Really great bass, sounded great and powerful enough acoustically. But I never ever could have a low action on those, even with .18/.50 strings. People told me it's this way with ABG.

Just a shame that someone madman with a pick managed to get hold of the Thunderchief before Think :) Nice bass in any case though

Pick helps a lot because of da volume. I can´t play with pick, but I would make sense if you don´t play amped.

Wouldn´t another position of the pickguard make more sense?

Just get a nice sticker! ;-)

Very nice, Think.

I have, too, "el cheapo" Olympia ABG based on the Thunderchief, and I love it. Best cheap acoustic bass guitar ever, IMO.

well, the picture looks worst than it really is. I mean it's not as damaged as it seems in the picture and I will just let it like that :p

Well, I was in the market for a lined fretless, and I found one.
On the "other" side :-)

I must say I'm quite impressed by this bass. The mix between the EMG and the Fishman Piezoo allows a lot of tonal possibilities.
Controls are Vol/Tone for the EMG and Vol/Tone for the piezo.
Chambered body makes it lightweight... And a nice flamed maple table.

Tried one of those in 5 string flavour. Nice bass. Body looks like an ugly Streamer... :D

You troll. :-)
For my taste, it was better to spend this money in an ugly streamer shape rather than in a Corvette. :-)
I looked at the 5-string version, but I really can't stand the narrow string spacing.

Bad Pun Alarm: Thou couldst always broadneck thy horizon :P

On a more serious not it looks nice, quilted maple seems to be fall a bit by the wayside

Finished and tweaked and set-up my Harley Benton kit.
It's now a "LePaul Precision Bass White Blonde Custom Shop Light Relic Edition".
Or Loola.

what a phattt tone..very very nice..love it....even that the additional HW costs more than a triple as the kit itself :D

that prooves, that the bass from the kit is good enough to update with good hardware

Yes. Although the bridge is a second hand epiphone (25€) and the Pup was 55€. Scratchplate was 45€ on eBay. Plus a 4€ decal, and 8€ can of white varnish. :-)
When I see the tone i have for the price of a squier affinity... No contest.
I'm contemplating making another one, now. Maybe a bit more Punky, maybe with EMG's... Or a DiMarzio...

(Funny, our avatars are two faces of a same head :-) )

Loola is very very SEXY!

i like the pickguard (even that the PG costs more than a half from the entire Bass :D)
the used look is very decent and natural :) fine job !
But the sexiest part is your design from the Headstock....it's stunning beautyful in conjunction with the golden Logo.

Thumb up !
