I only took out the Thumb live once at a fundraiser gig. The gig involved a pro wrestling contest after we played. Kerry Von Erick of the famous wrestling family had only one compliment for the band. Yes, you guessed it, he said "damn that bass tone was killer".:lol:

Exactly. I've been sitting-in at local open mic nights to just support whoever wants to play random stuff. Last week a lady came up after one of the sets and told me the bass sounded like "dark chocolate". :lol:

These Thumbs will ruin you! I've really been trying to play my other basses, Ric, Stingray, Carvin, but it's a struggle.

Congrats on the great bass! Worth the drive!

Is it camera or you may use some exotic wax or oil to get that nice looks of body wood ? It shines almost non realistic
