Yep its a 08 Erik. I bought it from warwickdepot.com. The mid is so tight that keeps me playing it over and over again, as compared to my $$ corvette and 86 Streamer.

Hey Jimmy,
I sold the Corvette last week.
After I got the Thumb, I didn't played any of my other basses.
Soundwise the Corvette sounded a little darker as the Thumb.
I realy liked the way that you could switch the pickups to single coil, and I am looking in the possibility to do something like that on my Thumb.

You may have to change your stock MEC soapbars to a set of Nordstrand pickups with dual coils. The stock MECs are single coil that u cant tap. Best person is to consult Means2end.
