The preamp on my Thumb shot on me so I replaced it with an Audere 4 band. Sounds amazing and maintains the growl but the 4 bands allows for much more flexibility. Definitely worth the upgrade!

Next in line for it is replacing the Just-a-Nut II with a JaN III brass.
 
Sign me up! Here's my "new" '03 Thumb BO 6. The dealer that I got it from said that it was in good shape, and he wasn't kidding! If you hung this on the wall at Guitar Center you could sell it as new. Frets are basically untouched.

This is my first Thumb, and it's not quite as heavy as I thought it would be; I'm guessing around 11 lbs.





Not only that, but tomorrow I'm going to look at a Corvette $$ tomorrow that's for sale locally. I used to have a Corvette Proline, and I miss it.

I recently had a re-setup of my thumb according to the instruction video's.

OMG I didn't expect that the thumb playability could be better than is already was 8-)

I have a BO 5 string Thumb FL, and it is nice... but I'd like to have the NT FL model instead now, heh. Only reason is because the BO seems to be louder than my fretted NT Thumb.
