where is the serial numbers on these 87 88 thumbs

on the top of the headstock it should be placed. Some older high polished Warwicks have the sn inside the electronics compartment, on a wooden plate.

As far as I know, the default arrangement is two single coils on 4's and 5's, and soap bars on the 6's. Lovely basses by the way!

i know, they are my priority once i build the Sunn T300 clone amp and purchase a WCA 211 Pro, but i'll really need soapbar pickups (a lot more convenient for a 3finger technique!), as i also have single coils on my Corvette. i may go for a 6string, but i don't believe that i'll ever need the 6th string
