Beautiful Thumb. It looks so good in that blue color with the flamed maple top!
 
Wow, what a curious (and stunning!) bass. A visible neck-through back in 2003? That seems very unusual, or have I missed something? And the neck-through has flamed maple to match the body top - is the neck all maple?

Yup, it sure is. I'm not sure with all the specs or anything but, all I know is I got it from my friend who ordered it from Warwick and there she is!! lol
 
I just got my 1st Warwick .... Thumb BO 6-string, (broadneck,) but I need a small amount of help. What's the best hardshell case for it? The RockBass hardcases seem to get just god-awful reviews. The SKB's all seem to be molded to a P-Bass like shape in the inside. Anyone know?
 
Hi Todd.

Any universal case will fit the thumb, since it has a small body. And I've used the Warwick Flightcase for years, and it was pretty OK for me...
 
Nice Couple Mr.D but I don't Understand why you use Warwick Amps...I don't have any feel with them..What Do you think about?
 
First of all I think you replied to a 2 years old post (this is page 26)

Second, I hope you are kidding me. A Warwick Tubepath hardly has rivals for it's money!

Wow! I'd love to see a photo of the back - I'm just curious how the maple neck-through looks with the ash through the blue stain. And are the LEDs just side dots, or are they on the fingerboard too?

Tell you what mate, I'll take a picture of the back of the neck for you when I get a little bit of time, lol nothing wrong with being curious! lol! The LEDs are just on the fingerboard.

OOHHHHH!!! you reminded me... today i played into a warwick XTREEM, and a huge Warwick speaker cab. i LOVED it. i never knew my thumb could produce some kinds of tones!!!
