Bought this from Patrik in January.




I'm crazy in love with this bass, but he screwed me over completely... Now I want a Streamer Stage I too.... his red one is pure eyecandy "droool"

In my book, and I'm pretty low on experience considering strings (and drunk as hell right now) a new brand of strings that you never used on your bass before requires a little tweak.

If the BB's are the same gauge as the current set that are on it you shouldnt have to do much of anything other than tune them.If they're a different gauge then you may need to adjust the nut & bridge,which are very easy adjustments to make.

Here is mine. 98 Thumb BO 5 String.



I had the JAN II replaced with a Bone Nut. It took a dive and the JAN II broke.



Not sure if that is a popular mod on 'Wicks, but I like it.

I don't hear a difference at all. What I like about it over the JAN II is the slots in the nut and the clips would gouge my fingers if I got a little too carried away. ;)

I'm a newbie of the forum and new to the thumb bass world , even if i've played it for a couple of month back il 1993 ...
Now i've got my new thumb bass 5 bo and i'm concerned on waxing it ....
