Thanks, Avram for the advice heh heh now i'm not at all afraid for my warwick if i were to get one... Well i calculated the cost of my dream thumb... And it costs about 8540 USD.... Which is converted to singapore dollars is near 13k.... 0.0 and so far i've saved up 50 bucks... Lol... Hhhmm... Super long way to go

i believe i have responded to you in the soft forums.
my thumb bo 5 is 8 years old and my neck is straight as heck.
even when i thought it was warped it was actually just too much relief.
looking at the neck of a warwick thumb. its like what greg said. its ♣♣♣♣ing tough for it to warp.

We never stopped using wenge, it is always a CS option, and not very expensive one.

Wenge is a great wood for neck, but please do not make the mistake to consider Wenge as being better than ovankol, because it is not. It simply sounds different. I actually like ovankol better, it has that tight sound as wenge, but brighter, more resonant.
