Hi, Ecto,

It's the special edition that was specifically made for Guitar Center in the US....for their 30 or 35 anniversary. The Thumb is the exact same as the official Wick LTD that same year :)

Paul's has by far (at least ones I've seen) the most crazy swirly Bubinga of any SE or LTD from that year. Top shelf master reserve quality.

With all the abbreviations-- BO, NT, SN, SC--I had eventually deciphered or was told, I wasn't quite sure about the SE. But let me hazard a wild guess that LTD would be a Limited? I'd prefer an unlimited model given the choice!!
 
Hey guys read every page and give mega love to some beautiful thumbs. All I can say is I'm ridiculously obsessed.. been playing bass 15 years and when i figured out that the thumb was responsible for some of the best tones in music I had to have one.. been on break for a few years and sold all my gear hadn't played a bass in 3 years. Bought this 2015 German thumb BO5 unplayed...i had played a $$ once on a trip to a big city and loved it and always knew I wanted one. Started researching and everyone keeps talking about how special these thumb things are.

After lots of research I knew the thumb would be me...i live in regional Australia so impossible pretty much to play one... Anyway this baby arrived and after a FULL set up the previous owner had some crazy crazy set up it is truly phenomenal in every aspect. Tone. Looks. Feel. Depth. I even love how heavy and dense it feels there is true power within these instruments. Anyway lots of photos to give you some details of the type of gear the guys are still producing. That wenge ohh so incredible... so I can I join the club? This thread is making me hunt for a 90sNT5/6 now to add to the family. Mega love cheers Josh.

Great to see some unbridled Thumb joy haha! Hell yes :) They are indeed special works of art.
