Hi guys,
I am thinking about getting Streamer (5 string) myself, but I cant decide between LX 5, Jazzman 5 or Streamer LX 5 LTD 2008 (but I dont like the look of this one very much). Price is almost the same for all three, I like the jazzman most, but I am not sure about the sound - Is there any major difference between Jazzman and LX?

Thanks for any feedback, Vaclav

Congratulations! You have to play one like this to understand how it feels!

Have you tried ´em ? Because the LX and the Jazzman are kinda different sounding basses, and the LTD 2008 has very unique voice and looks. What kind of music do you play?

Cant try them all - I have tried LX (but 4 str.) and it was ok, but i haven´t found a single seller with jazzman on stock (or even LTD LX).

Music - from jazz (Jaco) to rock, HC and metal. I have read in couple of reviews that Jazzman is suitable for all these... LTD LX seems to have very special tone so I am not to sure about it

Any model would make a good fretless.
Nobody can honestly tell you what to do,regardless of how much you have to spend.
Follow your heart.

Why not, it is a great bass. However, the greatest fretless I've ever tried was a thumb 5 BO.

Thnx man, i dont want a 5 string, and the "bad" thing on thumb, is that it has got a bass-treble boost.. on the other hand, streamer has bass-middle-treble boost. and i think that middles are important for fretles basses... right?

Gentlemen
I have a question about the 3 way switches on the Streamer $$ and the Streamer Jazzman.
When the switch are in the middle position, the p/u operate as Single Coils. My confusion is with the other 2 positions.
I believe that when the switch are facing downwards, towards the control knobs, the p/u operate as HB wired in SERIES and when they are facing upwards towards the p/u's, they operate as HB wired in PARALLE for both models. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
Thanks
