=The Warwick Streamer Club=

The Zebrano w/black hardware looks great. Very understated, classy bass.
Streamers are such great looking basses.

Thanks! Yes, a stunning looking bass, if I do say so myself. Not too much of a coffee table bass.

Finally got to plug my Pro-M in tonight after several weeks waiting. It doesn't cut through as well as the RockBass but it's got a huge sound and a really nice growl to it. A little time amp and DI tweaking and I'll be set!

I'd like to join! Just got a '99 Streamer LX, my 6th Warwick but first Streamer! I'm loving it so far (though it's only been a day...but I don't see that changing any time soon). I love this body style. Definitely the most comfortable bass style I've personally used!

That's a bass from '99? i guess the former owner must have taken real care. it looks like new, congratulations TechJunky

Yeah, definite doesn't look 11 years old. There are some dings on the tail and a few other flaws, but all in all it's in really good shape. Electronics are weird though. Controls aren't in the right positions. Trying to figure that out. Otherwise I love it!

Only questions I have are 1, does this model need waxed? It looks like it could use a good once over, and I don't think it's an oil finish, but don't know if it's actually natural or not. And 2, was the neck profile thinner in '99? It's an ovangkol neck, but feels thinner than my previous 4 strings warwicks.

Looking at the pics it looks like its an oil finished bass so yes it does need some wax.

I thought it may need waxed but wasn't sure. I'm glad it does. It means I can clean it up even more! Now just gotta get some wax...and remember to not wash the wax rag with my clothes again!!

Oh the humanity!

Oh the humanity!

Wow. Is that a new custom shop option? I'd love to see the price they'd put on it!

Seriously tho, has someone carved out the wood, or is that some kind of covering laid on top? It doesn't float my boat personally, but it's pretty impressive!

Whats that Greg and why do YOU post it?

Justin Williams from the NYC custom shop posted it on facebook & I thought you guys might like to see it as well.
I think it's one of the better type of arty farty mods that I've seen done to a Warwick.
Remember Mike Bone's Rockbass Vampyre?
That was ok, but this Streamer goes well beyond that Vampy.
Personally, it's not something I'd consider having done to my bass, but I still appreciate the work & skill involved.

I've uploaded a clip of my new CS Streamer here:

if anyone wants to hear it.

May I join? I've owned and played this one since 1995
