Here's my W(ee) bass. It's my first Warwick, a Streamer LX 5-string with a 32" medium scale neck.
I also ordered maple neck wood and in line pot placement a la $$. Makes more sense doesn't it?
The photos were taken with my mobile so the quality is kind of low.
(btw, photobucket what an easy site to use)
This is a front view, the 32" scale is evident. I think it looks slightly disharmonic with the body being a
bit too large for a 32" neck. Oh well, I guess god (Ned Steinberger) created everything with wisdom.
A full view of the instrument placed on a table. The bass is a mixture of yellow/gold and black visually.
(With a little brown from the wenge fretboard). Really nice.
A nice shot of the body I managed to take with my mobile phone. Not the best to take photos
with, this is a nice one though. The grain is minimal and has some imperfections, but I don't mind
at all. As a matter of fact I would prefer it even more unfigured.
Logo at the top, number at the bottom. Reads: M 148600 08. The tuners are comfortably angled and really precise.
What a nice solid neck. I don't mind the thickness at all. Gives me a better grip, I guess it will be more stable as well.
It was a pleasure to set up to a nice low action.
I just had to order this, the knobs are easier to reach with a similar motion. Looks better too.
Blurry picture due to some post processing to remove noise the mobile phone introduced.
Everything neatly arranged. Let's hope the horror stories in the forum about failing electronics don't happen to this bass.
Well that's about it, that's my W(ee) bass. I have a feeling that in time there will be more to come. 8)
