Thank you Hanzo! The bass in the other videos is a Tune TWB43.It is a good bass, mahogany body with zebrawood top, three pieces maple neck, rosewood fingerboard(24 frets),active pickups and electronics(18V).The body is natural oil finish, very very slim neck(maybe too slim for me).Price/quality excellent(Korean made).Bye!!!

does the bass all the way to the right have Guitar EMGs?

Looks like it.

That's been a signature of Carl Thompson
since day one, and it's worked wanders for
Col. Claypool's tone.

That bass was made by an italian luthier in the early 90'.Itis a neck throu with two pieces of quilted maple neck, rosewood body,24 frets rosewood fingerboard,Shaller two pieces bridge and Gotoh tuners. The Pickups are effectively active Emg HB model for bass, very similar to guitar model.Very good pickups and very noiseless(I'm thinkin' about to install EMG on the Streamer because I love the sound of MEC but are subject to capture radio frequencies). The soud of the bass is very "clean" ideal for recording.I love that bass for the rosewood body,my favourite wood,in natural oil finish is very beautyful!!

Tune basses are amazing pieces of work.

Very under-rated, and very versatile.

+1 I thought I recognized it. I had my hands on an Ovankol 6 once for about five minutes ( my little hands just can't handle a six) I agree very under rated. People said it sounded like a Ken Smith.

Thank you Steve!! I hope to upload new videos with better quality and with my Streamer!!! Bye!

My Streamer Jazzman

Hi,

I'm new to the forum and got my first Warwrick last week, I've been after one for a while and finally decided to get one with my old kramer being somewhat unreliable now days and heavy with is aluminium neck. So got this its second hand but with out a mark and plays and sounds very well, I'm so impressed I think when I eventually get a 5 or 6 string I may have got get another warwick lol.

If I'm completely honest mate I have absolutely no idea what year it is, is there a way of finding out?. And thanks for the comment. :)

the way to read a Warwick serial number is first of all look at the first letter. A-is january, B is February and so on... there is no "I" so it goes from H to J and goes on.

Now the last 2 number usually "-XX" those last 2 digits is the year of production. so it if says "K-273764-07" you know it was made in October 2007. got it?

the earlier ones will say 89, 99 etc depending on the year.

the very early ones have the serial number at the tip o the headstock and sometimes even older ones handwrittenin a cavity.

Thanks for that mate was really useful, based on that then it was made November 2002, can't believe its that old it looks new. Other funny thing is my birthday is in November lol.

so this is hilarious because mine is in November 1st.

for real

Man they're amazing, sso gotta get one now. They look quite big bigger than what I thought they would be at the price, they well made?. I want to my christmas party last night and the bass player in the band had a Warwick Corvette Jazzman in flamed natural maple. It looked awesome!

must have been a Corvette FNA JAzzman then  if you liked that one see this one:

they are awesome.

the mini bass is awesome . I tired to get a Streamer one and DBG had none in stock by then. I will get one whenever I am abl to see one and snatch it aways.

Man that is very very very nice, that yours then?. I'd love a 5 string corvette, been thinking about getting a 5 string for a long while but needed to get a more reliable 4 string first lol. Think when I do it will be a corvette, I have considered a 6 instead of 5 string though rather than getting a 5 and then wanting a 6 as well lol.

that's not mine but my best friend's who also pays bass with me at the same church. he's selling it.

Does having a Streamer Std II (Warwick not Rockbass) get me admission to this club?

As far as I know, there is just one Streamer Standard. There were the different pickup positions (one pickup vs. two) but either way it's still a Streamer Standard, not to be comfused with the Streamer Stage One (SSI) or Streamer Stage Two (SSII). But yeah... post some pictures man... Everyone loves a streamer!
