=The Warwick Streamer Club=

A traveller came round to visit the family! Will not stay for long, but there was time for family photos:

As much as I love the subtleness of black hardware, I felt like it took something away from the bass when I installed it on my 2000 SSII.

Kind of like buying a Ferrari and painting it beige.

I found another pic of it with black hardware:

Hi all ....on first, sorry for my bad english.
I'm an italian guy and that 's my warwick bass...It's a streamer Lx6 and I'd bought it in 2003.
I wanna ask you a thing:becose someone asked me to sold it,andso I could change my bass for a new model, what's the price
could I do ....or is better to keep it?

Hi Alex!

Welcome onboard!

Man, this gear got played! What kind of finish is this?

The right price... something around 1.000,- EUR I would say. This one in very good shape is offered for 1.130,- EUR:

I also would say: keep it!

Hi Hardy!!thanks so much for the quickly answer.
I don't understan if you are ask about its color...if is it so,yes,It'a avery particular oli-finish that I can't find in nothing else model.
Unfortunately, it show its age by a natural fading(I don't know is this the right word).
Thanks again

to me it looks like what continious waxing does to a warwick "oil finish"

I have seen a lot of old, neglected or good treated Warwicks, not one looked even close to this..
Maby previous owner tried to change colour but didn't know the right way?

Hi Mas_Fina!
Be aware that thickness and width aren't the same dimension!
On my Streamer (2005 5 stringer Stage I), the neck is broad (big width, starting at 47mm at the nut), but not very thick (21mm at the 3rd fret, 25 at the 12th, just meassured).
I can assume that these dimensions would be the same on a 2006 Streamer, if it's a 5'er also!

Hi Bassman, thanks for taking the time to reply!
You're right, it's the width I was worried about... still searching... cheers for the feedback!
