=The Warwick Streamer Club=

Thanks, Nacho, you may be surprised how fast your words might become true: After just playing it this afternoon, I'm already afraid (or convinced) this LX will demote the Infinity to #2 in my fretted line-up. Just love its sound!

It looks as though the annual rings of the wood meander randomly across the grain; this is causing the effect. But I promise some better, and more detailed pics tomorrow.

Here's better colors for Starters:

Hi Gunter, the maple grain is insane!
It looks like natural oil to me, but it is easy to check. Dip a finger in water, the rub the bass a little bit. If the wood drings the water is natural, if it stays on top it is satin :-) Ok, I am actually using saliva!
So no wax on satin, do wax the natural oil (the neck)

Cheers,
Flo

Tried to capture why I thought the LX was Satin finish, and also why I called it "3D":

At any rate: I'm one very, very happy new owner of a Streamer!

PS: This time, just normal, non-exaggerated sharpening, and I got the colors pretty accurate, too.

PPS: Just thought - did the LXs ever come with bookmatched maple?

Oh wait......ive still got awesome basses.....lol:twisted:

Proud to be joining forces. I just picked up an SSII 5, in trade plus $ for my P-nut-2. Most say I'm crazy, I say it feels and sounds like home.

I am feeling the same way! I need to get it to for a set up.

The color is so close to my Purpleheart bass, it looks amazing!

I am amazed how good this bass sounds passive, truly "The sound of Wood"! The most versatile neck pickup I have ever played, and holey Jaco bridge pick up.

Figured I might aswell make more posts here:
My 1998 Pro M 5 Streamer!

My cat approves, I do a bit less because it's so busted up by the previous owner :(

Nice bass, and I like it´s mojo.

Wonder why people love "road worn" 7enders but hate "road worn" Warwicks. ;)
