=The Warwick Streamer Club=

Well there is a difference between road worn and having a backside all messed up too.

No idea what that line in the middle near the neck is...
The frets are really worn and there is even some fretboard damage, and I wish the gold hardware was still actual gold :(

Because Fenders are workhorses and Warwicks are beauties.

That´s bull♣♣♣♣, IMO (no offense intended to you, pal).

Dings, scratches, etc, are like battle scars on your music partner. It´s the sign of the pass of life on your bass, like the rings in a tree, like wrinkles in your face.

Although one thing must be noted here: coloured oil finishes with dings and scratches look like balls. Even as a mojo-lover, i think they show wear badly, natural oils get shiny in parts, dark in others, scratch and dent in organic ways, Flat HPs and bursts get exposed wood...and everyone loves exposed wood.

BUT coloured oil finishes on wicks just all these white spots and lines. which are crap. this is not opinion, it is fact.

Probably after many years you would get more worn timber/polished spots which are nicer. but they go through a crap phase, which seeing as wicks finishes are tough as hell might be a long time.

Jepp, this is what I mean. I had a Stryker in a black oil finish. There is no chance that such a monster of a bass does not get dings and dongs, especially at the both horns. You can´t turn without hitting some bandmate or amp! The stratches were indeed white, there were shiny parts at the pickups and the armrest... I got no higher Feelings about that. Thinking of my CS Streamers, I could not find something interesting about scratches in the high polish finishes. The gears have not one cratch at all (6 and 14 years old), I try to keep it that way.

Here it is :

Tightest wengé grain ever? Tightest wengé grain ever.

congrats Morg!
how it feels/sound after thumb? :)

Thanks Anton.

Well first, it's lighter than the Thumb. The neck is thinner and feels amazing (imho, you can't beat a wengé neck when it comes to comfort). It sounds punchy, tight, very growly with the typical wengé "rocky" tone. But, overall, it has a more "open" sound, with more low-mids / bottom while the Thumb has more high-mids and glassy highs (ebony FB).

BUT, their tones are still quite similar (and if the Thumb was a 88' one, they would sound even closer).

Im now the proud owner of 3 Streamers!!
Can I become a member now?

Here they are :-)
I'm very proud of them and of course they are sensational to play. Each one very different

The P-Nuts are courtesy of Schlobodans personal collection, the stage II came from our very own Kev.

Streamer overload!!!!!!!
