What's the weight of this beast? Remember playing them in a shop in the 80s - great sound. Afaik, the fretboard is ebonol (like the Squier fretless basses).

Picked this up locally, they said the bridge pickup didnt work (dirty switch, and disgusting bass overall)

1983' BB1000S, it cleaned up rather nicely.
Not perfect, I couldn't find my steel wool. When I find it I'm going to polish the frets and nut.

Picked up a really worn F-bass BN5, it still plays like a dream.
The bass used to be green, but was used extensively and the lights and heat made it turn natural again.
