And now: how does it sound? Good find?

Not sure yet, it has really strange flat wounds on it. Will get new strings on the weekend!

Pickups should be stock fender , haven’t checked yet.

Finally got my Adamovic about a week ago. Pretty cool, gorgeous bass, Noll preamp very versatile, weighs very little, 7lb 14 oz/3.5kg. Balance is ridiculous, sits so well, and no strain on my shoulder.
specs Alder back, black maple fill, figured maple top dyed. Neck is ash/Purple Heart/maple, with maple fretboard. Inlays are same as body top with ebony edges. Hipshot hardware. Knobs are al but he is making me custom two tome maple knobs, top body color, and bottom plain maple. Will have em shortly, got left off build sheet.
some glamour shots from manufacturer and some bad shots from me ha

That's beautiful!
Enjoy it, he makes some of the best basses on the planet. :)

I bet those purple tones look even deeper and magnificent than the lens was able to capture, correct @PaulS ?
What an awesome bass you got there... Congrats!

@DiMarco it just looks crazy lol. The inlays are amazing. The best thing is the balance, no dive at all, and the way it’s shaped feels like it’s shorter than 34”. Ergonomics are amazing. Took me a bit to get used to it, very different from anything I have.

Peavey makes the most underrated instruments out there, beautiful!
I was offered a red Peavey TL-6 years ago, but didn't close the deal. Still regret that.

Those two are both from 2005, the real USA thing.
I read that the new Indonesian ones are not bad either, but never tried one.
