Show Us Your Non- Warwick Bass Then!

Most recent scoop. Warmoth Jazz 4 with wenge neck. Took a shot in the dark on this one on Reverb but i actually love the fuck out of it. Probably keep in the squad forever.

The all Ash Zon shows some areas in its lacquer that seem to have faded. In real life you don't really see those quite as clear. This bass is from 1994.

The new Zon with the Bubinga top is from 2007 and it seems to be brand spanking new. No wear or marks anywhere, even on the frets and fingerboard.

Tone wise the 2007 Sonus Special has a wider palette, its preamp is a three band one with selectable mid frequency for boosting or cutting. The older Sonus has more treble by nature, which I always end up having to cut somewhat.

I am a happy man.

Is it me or it looks like some kind of Thumb? (boobinga wood, 2 jazz pups near the bridge)

Just kidding of course! It actually sports some of the characteristics of a Thumb bass. Burpy bridge pickup included.

I like it a lot so far. There is one problem though, the G string is louder then the other strings. I will replace the strings and give it a full setup. Looks like the G is just closer to the pickups then any of the other strings right now.

Exactly, it's like Stingray, but with a twist. And i like this twist.
Plus it's super light and comfortable (balance!)
