Show Us Your Non- Warwick Bass Then!

Yeah, a Wenge top!
I think this is the best Schecter bass at all! I Love the design of the Headstock and it sounds very modern! Now Riot bass is horrible!!

is it heavy?? sweet looking bass you have there.love the colour/color (depening where you live hahaha) contrast..

Squier JB Vintage (Re)Modified Fretless

I don't think I ever showed you my Squier JB Fretless Vintage (Re)Modified, with a BadAss Bridge and EMG pickups!

Absolutely not!! The body is made of Mahogany, only top is Wenge. Is light as a feather relating to my Thumb 6!!

Yeah, my version of So What is pretty lame! lulz :D
I just sold this bass. really liked it. But I never really used it. I bought it 175€, made a few changes, and it became a good fretless.

Even my luthier, who's an upright player, and a anti-fender warrior, was shocked by the quality of it (considering the price of course)

I'm gasing for an amp and I needed money. That's why i sold it...

would you ever stop to change, buy, sell, exchange, basses?!?! asd asd asd

Ciao Lucio!! :D

This is my Wolf WTHB-IV. It's handmade in Korea. Ash body, fretless ebony fingerboard on maple with rosewood veneers neck through body, active electronics, passive pickups. Cost me about 220 EUR brought home.

Record some clips to me if it sounds good I think I need one wolf too lol.

2004 Squier P Bass Special, first year model. Used to have chrome/mirror pickguard..but the red pearloid is cooler. Also have a black pearloid for it if I get tired of red. Will do the black hardware thing with it, at least for this its easier to find. Agathis body, no biggie. It's one to fool with..but i like it. It's my 99$ GC used bass deal...and it's nearly new condition! no damage other than few tiny nicks in the neck....set up needed, should be good to go.
Someday I might upgrade the pickups if it makes a difference. Some say no it wont, it's a cheap chunk of firewood...then one guy upgraded the hell out of his Squier and says it was much better. This is a bass to play with anyways, see if I can get it to be lots better than it is. :-)

I upgraded my Squier and Mex JB's with DiMarzio's and Seymou Duncan, and yes, I could tell the difference, and cheap basses became good basses. If you have th opportunity, do it imo.

Glad to see someone else that agrees with me. I'm thinking of the EMG's with the easy wiring kit so I can do it myself. I can solder but I really don't want to. I'd rather just go the easy route hehe! The kit will make it active as well. The passive pickups don't have the easy wiring kit with it :-(
Even my really cheesy plywood squier isn't terrible. I think it's these elite thinking bassist on a certain forum that write off cheap gear as firewood. (not all of them tho) Why pay $1k for a Fender when I can get a Squier for dirt cheap?

THe bass is looking cooler, it'll be getting it's tuners - gotta be redrilled so my teacher's working on that next.

I love Warwick, but sometimes you fall in love with another brand...

Here's my not-yet-arrived Marleaux Consat Custom. I loved the Consat @ MusikMesse, and I felt like I HAD to order one with my specs (mostly the white HP finish...)

Can't wait to get it !!! It's gonna be a nice Christmas present !
