Hi I want to change the preamp of my Thumb 6 Bo, I have EMG (3 pots) and SD preamp(4 pots), it's better no to put more hole on my bass so I would like to try EMG's first. The active SD PUsis 100k, the EMG is 25K, is it O.K. to match them together??

Just curious, aside from having them fail and actually need to be replaced, why would anyone replace their stock pickups? For the most part, isn't the sound the reason we all bought our Warwick basses in the first place (except my Streamette which I decided to buy before I heard it) ?
