can someone tell me more about these pickups, as used in the Fortress Flashback? They sound amazing... any idea what kinds of magnets are used?

What is everyone's preference for pickups on a fretless? I played around with one at GC and thought it was pretty fun. Active / passive? J-, TJ, P- or what? Never given much thought to a fretless bass but I'm thinking I might look into one in the future so I figured I'd ask.

i've noticed that the output of the bridge pickup on my fretless is a lot lower than the neck pickup...even bearing in mind position and type of pickups it strikes me as very quiet. anyone have any experience of this ?
