Fretless pickups

What is everyone's preference for pickups on a fretless? I played around with one at GC and thought it was pretty fun. Active / passive? J-, TJ, P- or what?

Never given much thought to a fretless bass but I'm thinking I might look into one in the future so I figured I'd ask.
 
Me personally, I really dig fretless P/J setups. I think the P/J is about the most versatile combination to be born, and hence lends a nice setup for fretless applications.

(Especially if you can get the jazz pickup a little closer to the bridge ;) Definitely has some sick mwah.)
 
aye piezo is the icing on the cake in a fretless setup.

Personally i quite like humbuckers, but for JJ or TJ/J in passive kinda gets more overtones i found which helps if you want mwaaah so you can just ping harmonics all over the place!
