Ok...so I have a new JAN III on my bass. The B string rattles at the nut when played, no other string is doing this. When I press downward on the string over the nut, the rattle goes away. When I switch back to the JAN II, no rattle either... It seems as if the cutout for the B string is...

Well my new J-A-N III arrived today and i have a question or two. 1. Is there meant to be 3 screws because i only see 2 and 3 holes.. 2. When i adjust it do i have to loosen the strings?, take them off all together? or can i just leave them in tun on the bass. I think thats it really.

I wanted to get a new nut on my Infinity SN 5. Either a Just a Nut III or a brass Just a Nut. Does anyone prefer one over the other? Why? I was kinda leaning towards the JAN III just because it would match to the black hardware better. Let me know what you think. Thanks.

I apologize in advance for the likeliness of this already being covered, but i couldn't find the post through searching. I am finally getting around to putting on the JAN III and when I line it up, there is a gap between the edge of the fingerboard and the nut, but in the manual, it lines up...
