Is someone here a member of the band III Judges? I had a friend request on my MySpace page from them and just assumed it was someone from here and added them, but now I am really getting the feeling that it was just a random band and a random request and if that is the case I am going to delete them. They keep putting ads to thier events in my comments and since they are in washington and I am in oregon, I don't see the purpose of this.

But if it's someone from the forum, then I would by all means like to continue to support them, and would keep them as friends. And of coarse, if they were hocking their new CD or something that would be a different story. I would be more than happy to support them.

i think it was band pages that killed myspace, everyone got so sick of being bombarded by random bands trying to add them as friends that they all moved over to facebook.

Having said that, check out myspace.com/rundownjack :D

Yeah, I have to agree with you about bands spamming MySpace. Why people think being annoying to make them popular is beyond me. I can see getting exposure so I guess its a fine line between exposure and annoying. I usually catch these, but I really thought III Judges was from this forum.

As to Rundownjack's MySpace, pretty cool.... Wow that yellow sure is bright. I was reaching for the sun glasses. kidding  I did really like the music. "Opinion Post Mortem" is really cool. It's probably just me, but I was waiting for the horn section to come in. Love the bass on it.

Well I'll give III Judges another day or so just to make sure then bye bye.

So true.

Also, Facebook is a lot faster.

Convesely though, band pages just haven't really worked out on Facebook... so it's become Myspace for music, Facebook for personal stuff...

Cheers Randy!! I'll add you tomorrow!!!

Only joking, tbh we don't bother updating the myspace with gigs anymore cause, to be quite frank, no one really cares!!!

For gigs now we just create a facebook event and invite friends along that way instead.

Myspace has been an absolute blessing for alot of bands,no doubt about it.
If this sorta thing bothers ya Randy, you can set your profile to private & individually approve or deny each message left for you as well as set it to only accept messages that dont contain large pics & ads.
No offence mate, but this is a bit like complaining of all the billboards on the side of the road.Ignore them if they bother you.
