please post a picture taken from the side with the string height visible. i just put mine on and i'm getting slightly more buzz than i did with my JAN II... i think the height may be a bit off.

even if you like your action higher/blah please post a pic if you can. i'm playing a show tonight and i'd like to get rid of the buzz beforehand. it's not terrible, just a bit of a pet peeve.
 
There is a bit of a gap between the bottom plate and the nut itself - that's normal. Nothing extreme though...

All you need to do is simply turn the two screws and raise the nut a little until the buzz is gone. Then set intonation, tune up, etc.

If you didn't have the fret buzz before, then I doubt the truss rod needs any adjusting, because Warwick Ovengkol and Wenge necks are rock solid stable; just the nut needs a slight bit of raising. :)

just what I was going to say just raise those little screws inside the JAN 3 and the buzz will be gone.
 
Did you change the base as well?The JAN3 base is a different thickness to the JAN2.
 
yeah i changed it. i don't have the warwick allen keys so when i want to adjust my bridge i have to loosen the strings and twist the screws by hand (at least until i go get some from home depot). I actually checked my neck and it did seem to have a bit more bow than usual, so i pulled out my handy dandy warwick truss rod tool and gave it a bit of a twist. so it looks much straighter and the buzz has been reduced quite a bit. i'll probably head over and get the allen keys tomorrow so i can fine tune it!
