=The Warwick Streamer Club=

Hi Peter, the volute has nothing to do with the neck profile. Old ssii,s had slim neck as well, and since 2009 necks are slim again.
The older necks without volute were sometimes weak at the headstock to neck joint and they were cracking sometimes.

Once again thanks Florin. Do you mean that the Stage I has always had the slim neck profile like mine
just with the volute added for strength ?

in the early 2000's the Warwick necks were pretty fat, we changed back to slim necks in 2009

I come back to the club with my "new" streamer stage 1 (1992)! ( photos are coming...)

Jimmy Earl Signature Streamer FOR SALE in Canada

I've been with my '93 Jimmy Earl signature Streamer (SN: F 0000357-93) since April '94 - she's now up for sale at Blue Dog Guitars in Vancouver, Canada. We're really going to miss her. She's rare, beautiful and plays exceptional. If you know anyone who is looking, here is a to the sale ad on Craigslist Vancouver. It'd be great to have someone on this Forum take her home.

hey lokiz! nice bass, i've seen this somewhere already! fretboard should be rosewood:)

Very beautiful bass Lookiz!
Pics are too small for my eyes, but fingerboard seems to be some sort of rosewood indeed.

Since the modding project completed i guess i shall join here... with a '95 Streamer Bolt-On:

It now has a Aguilar OBP-3 (set up for fully parametric mids, 200-800 Hz) and sounds awesome with it.
Minor oddity: this has a 3-piece body, not sure how that happened.

Now if i could just find stacked knobs that aren't much higher than the non-stacked ones...
