=The Warwick Streamer Club=

I hope nobody will be mad at me, but for me it is not much to discuss, buy the first one!
Howde,

Looking to buy myself probably a vintage streamer.
I've always had thumbs in the past so not sure how the new streamers compare to the older ones.

I prefer the older thumbs to the newer ones ( well the new ones that I've played) so I'm torn between all this beautiful wenge...

And these two

Any thoughts would be appreciated....

TBH, I can´t understand how anyone could have doubts about which bass to choose between that trio.

The first one FTW!.

What does FTW stand for?

I've played newer thumbs and the neck/fret board wasnt as smooth/nice (IMO) than the earlier ones I had.
It is hard buying an instrument having not played one....and there's none around here to try
....only sheep & cows:D

Hi,

imo criteria to consider are

neck profile,
vintage vibe:-),
signs of use,
active or passive pu,
overall quality.

if you want a handmade, vintage vibe and the vintage neck profile go for any of the older ones.

If you dig barts and you are comfortable with more recent neck profiles and you want a
top condition, top precision and quality CS instrument. Go for the newer one.

just my two cents

New one sold....vintage it is... they both seem very similar...pity I couldn't play either first.....it's like rolling a dice to pick one over the other:roll:

Since I joined the club recently I thought of posting some better shots of my bass while it's waxed and cleaned up.

Same here... I'm thinking of buying the Daphne Blue Streamer CV I have at home. A bad case of GAS.

Because it sounds good, looks good and it is very versatile...

Does owning a Rock Bass Streamer and a Korean pro Streamer allow me entrance to the club?
