I wont pay more than $400 to $500 for it shipped with case. Worst case I should be under a grand right? Thanks for the input. I am hoping it is just user replaceable. i will pull the trigger on it for the right price. Same year as my Thumb and its BLUE! AWESOME!

Even with a broken truss rod I can't believe for one minute that you'd get it for $400-$500... but best of luck! ;)

Sorry for all of the questions. I am looking at a 1988 streamer stage 1 for sale. Is has a broken truss rod. I am not sure in what way but I am curious. Is this a user replaceable rod? If so where can I get it and for how much approximately. Thanks! Really want to try a streamer.

Definitely a user replaceable rod. It happened (not very often though) that by mistake, a part of the trussrod was glued inside, so removing it was not that easy... Probably it will not happen to you, I think it worth the risk, especially if the price is right.

Cheers,
Flo

The GAS went away for a while, but now it's back.... I want a P-NUT. Or a SS2. Will probably be able to afford one in April/May time. Any of you guys looking to unload a 5 string :p

SSII on BC £1300 and the seller is a good guy!

Just to show you the new neck of my streamer 95' (the older was broken), I sent my bass to warwick and here is the result! P1060972[1].jpgP1060977[1].jpgP1060978[1].jpg

Hello sprocket. I send my streamer to warwick germany to make the same neck than the original, I gave them the serial number and the next week the bass was in their shop.

I contacted WW last year to see if they could get a neck for an Streamer PRO M, they told me they did not sell necks...

What did that cost? Lots of times people are reluctant to send their bass in because of a fear it will cost so much. It would be nice to have a real world number.

Thanks, nice bass!

+1 on what shaft wrote in there .

Warwick would make you a neck for your bass if you send it out in Germany Shav0 , i know it must cost a forune in order to send the bass over , & have it reshipped to you .

Seems like 4 string SS1's and SS2's are easier to acquire. I personally have always played music that requires a low B, so can't justify spending over £800 for a 4 string bass, as lovely as they might be! More people need to buy 5 string streamers and sell them on to me :D

Cleaning and setup!

Made the frets shine again. A bit of lemoil on the fretboard and it looks like new!

Hello Shaft, I spend about 900 euros for this neck, I love this streamer, it's a rare bass and I wanted to continue to play it.
