=The Warwick Streamer Club=

dreewww, that thing is hot! The chrome really makes it refreshing to look at!

Nice bass;)

What's the price for the new Streamer LX's?

I managed to get mine ordered right before the new price rises. I paid around £1,350, but that's now closer to £1,550. List price is more like £1,950.

This good enough to join the club? 8:

'88 Stage I, EMG pickups.

Well used but still plays and sounds great. Was a bit of a restoration project. Needed a new truss rod, battery box lid, battery clip, re-soldered the control cover ground wire, and new Schaller straplocks. Cleaned 20 years worth of gunk out of it and polished the frets. I think it's a keeper.

An '88? I suspect that's a hell yeah you can join!

I will be re-joining this group very soon as well...

Hey guys! Finally going to apply to join the 'Warwick Streamer Club" with my latest Warwick bass! So here are the pics..2007 CS Streamer Stage 2:

Great sounding bass, i really dig the j/tj pup config and by pulling the volume switch out you get the classic SS2 config..I will post some sound clips soon. Cheers guys!8:

*sorry guys had to delete some photos as they ain't working..but here it is with the best photos i could find*

Hey there Greg...umm not sure if i can run it in passive mode...as usually if you pull volume on other warwicks it goes to passive but on my bass it goes to streamer stage 2 mode..unless streamer stage 2 mode is passive?

Well, your pickups are appearently active (Gold MEC logos on the pickups). I'm not sure about the electronics. Did you buy it secondhand? It's possible that the previous owner swapped some of the electronics if it's secondhand.

The bass is found here on the Warwick website:

Yes it is 2nd hand but there has been no mods to this bass all straight from warwick. Except i installed a new input jack the other day..lol

I know this is a stupid question mate, but have you tried pulling on all the pots?
Maybe one is to split the twin J & another bypasses the eq.

Ha ha i am such a noob!!..definitely not a stupid question just a stupid owner!! I ve just found the bypass pot which is the bass cut/boost. The volume pot is pulled to toggle between j/tj and j/j mode. Thanks Greg!!

I thought that might be the case. The pot,not you being a stupid owner ;)
Now that I think about it,the volume pot, when pulled, splits the twin J between series & parrallel.
This bass is soo damned cool it's obscene.

Cheers Greg...this bass is everything i wanted it to be and more..i really find it hard to put down and just love the versatility in its tonal range. And harmonics just ring out like nothing else...Warwick streamer basses are just unbelievable.

Ummm +1 on that. If I ever get another bass it will be another streamer. They're just so versatile... Don't get me wrong I love the thumb nt and dolphin as well. Its just that the SSI I got recently does it all where the other two are more sort of one trick ponies.

Well, it's official. She isn't as spectular as some of the new basses I've seen in this thread, but I'm pretty excited to get a Streamer, with a little bit of a vintage vibe, back into the arsenal...

All-wenge neck, high polish 'amber' finish, internal strap locks... I think I'll throw a JAN I on eventually, but here she is:

Beautiful bass Evolvebass !

Thanks, Darren! She's no custom shop SSII, but definitely gives me a very different tool from my Warwick $$'s and my Wals. For a '98, she's in incredible condition, that's for sure...

To me is as good and sexy as a CS SSII! You just bought a great instrument, mate!

Congratulations!
