Question-
What would a SSI 5'er custom shop done in all white with LED's set me back? How does Warwick do their custom shop stuff?

$8k USD by 2007 prices... these days I would say $10k+ USD

Hey Chris

Are you talking all white finish including the fingerboard like my basses?

I don't know what you'd end up paying as I had a different deal to straight up retail...

Yeah, your bass is exactly what I want.... :d Ever since I saw Larry Graham play on Prince's live DVD back in 1999 or 2000, I have wanted an all white bass and the Warwick SSI is just perfect to me.

Thanks for the help, but at that price point, I don't think I will ever be able to swing it..... for now. :(

Have you seen Prince's white Thumb basses? And Sonny T's all-white Dolphin bass?

Do u guys know where or how to order a streamer stage II 5-string with black hardware hipshot d-tuner & SD bassline pups & electonics? Can u order 1 like that somewhere or thru Warwick without going thru the custom shop?

I think you'd have to go to the CS unless you find one just like that already existing. CS is not so bad you know... you only pay extra for the options you actually want, you're not charged anything for a fact that it's a Custom Shop order (some manufacturers do that). And you get free flight case and 2 sets of EMP's :)

How do u order from CS? I've tried emailing Warwick asking for a price and I've tried 3x going thru guitar center trying to get a price from the CS but no response.

I think John's dead right about the tuners. The E & G tuners seem to be positioned alot lower than usual.
....

It's not just the E and G tuners that aren't in the right place: if you compare the A and the D tuners with the W logo on this headstock and on any 4-strings in the custom shop gallery then the positioning is not the same. And I'm with Flo - the shape isn't quite right: the top left corner should be a touch more pointy.

Also this headstock seems to have bevelled edges, but not evenly bevelled all the way round - the left side is much squarer than the corners. Certainly some CS basses with matched headstocks have a bevel, but it's more subtle and, of course, completely regular.

In fact the only thing making this look like a genuine Warwick neck is the W inlay, but presumably that just shows the luthier who made this was pretty talented.

Where do you live BinkBass? You need to ask a dealer for a quote.

I live in CA Fresno area. I have talked to different guitar centers which are Warwick dealers 3x asking for quotes but got no response back.

I wondered if it was marriage of two existing Warwick basses with some further mods. The fret wire also looks silver coloured as opposed to the usual brass alloy on factory Warwicks... again maybe a CS neck or a refret possibly?

Don't you just love riddles like this!

Further pics of the bass inc reverse would be good. ;)

yeah we wann see its' behind:-)

Oh really? but which model is it? why the bridge is one piece? why it has EMG's?? why plastic pots? hehe i'm jokin'.. Spector are great basses!

Just for the record, can you describe all the differences between your Streamer & your Spector Shay?

I've owned a pair of Spector Euro 4's and one Euro 5 and IMHO the Spectors are like Streamers that have eaten all of the pies... physically and aurally! ;)

I thought the Euro 5 was a better bass than either of the 4's that I had but then again I've only ever had one 5 string Streamer and I've had... a few () Streamers!
