=The Warwick Streamer Club=

Thanks guys!

It's been at least a couple years since I held a four string. I'm loving the feel, but more importantly the spacing. Can't wait for my BN SSI to get here!

SS2s are very nice. I tried an SS1 5 er which has the 20mm string spacing... do not get me wrong I like the 16, 17 and 19 mms but the 20mms was waaay too wide for my fingers on 5 and 6 stringers. I hope it feels good for you man. Sincerely do.

Hey Gerry nice SSII.

Hey wait, that wood is Tigerwood? if not, that is the most beautiful grain i´ve seen in a Afzelia body!!

hi...im new to the forum...well....im about to buy a used streamer...but couldn't find the serial number....so...you think if i send you a picture...you can help me??' bout.. the year, the wood..etc.

and well....the price is $ 600

Hi Xsoul & welcome.
That's a custom shop Streamer LX you have there.
Standard they come with a flamed maple body, ovangkol neck & wenge fingerboard.
Yours look to have a cherry or maple body with a maple fingerboard & although I cant see the back of the neck,it appears to be maple with wenge stringers.
I cant tell what sort of pickups you have, but I suspect it's all passive, coz you have no stacked volume control pot.
The serial number should be either on top of the headstock,or on the back, between the tuners.
Beautiful bass,congrats.She's a beaut.

Can you show us pics with the nut and the headstock, front and back, and the back of the body?

the nut looks like an original brass JAN, I think.

I think you're right Martin.
But at first glance it looks like a JAN2 with a zero fret, but it aint.
The headstock veneer looks almost like wenge, instead of composite fibre. That's probably just the way it looks in the pic. They always fade.
The buyer said it's got an Aguilar preamp, but isnt sure of the pickups. He was going to buy it,so hopefully he'll post some more pics.

i have only this pics....dont have any from the back of the body....im not already the owner

so the nut is not a JAN, but it sure looks like brass... I wonder about that headstock veneer... Maybe you could ask the seller to take pictures of the back of the headstock, with a serial number? On the second pic the neck looks like it's made of light-colored wood, with 2 (which is unusual) dark pieces of wood, one of them being wider than another...
