=The Warwick Streamer Club=

I'm back in the Streamer Club again with my '99 Pro M. Had a '98 previously which I should never have sold...

Just arrived (from Romania and it was still in tune!)...

Taken apart, cleaned, waxed, Dunlop65'd, put together and restrung with Lo-Riders.
Fat neck profile, Ovangkol+Afzelia neck, Wengé fingerboard. Built in 2007. Used to be Florin's.

Does that look tasty?

Hi all,
a lot of firsts for me this weekend:
First Warwick bass
First 5-string bass
First active bass
And last but not least my first post on the forum :D

Got this Streamer LX ltd 2011 in a trade yesterday. A little bit of cleaning, waxing, new strings and a setup and she feels like a keeper. Maybe to soon to say but I have a feeling that this won't be my last Warwick.

That is nice. I have a 2011 as well. The SD electronics really give it a voice of it's own. I love mine.

Oops - It just crossed my mind that I am not a member here in the Streamer Club. Sorry, guys/gals.

Thanks,
two days of playing and I hardly notice that it's a five stringer anymore. I guess that the really comfortably neck helps.
Soundwise I love it. I never realised how much an active tone circuit can do for the tone, and played through the Darkglass B7K it provides a lot of nasty growly tones.
Right now I'm happy as a pig in a mudhole :D

A quick question: how sensitive is the waxed wood when it comes to stands and wall hangers? I have some standard K&M wall hangers and I'm a bit worried about discoloration etc.

I've not noticed anything wrong with my basses after being in/on stands/hangers.

B7K + Streamer 2011 5 is definitely a match! I play that combo as well.
