=The Warwick Streamer Club=

Here are my Current Streamers

1st up is a 1999 Streamer Std. Someone wanted to trade necks, since I had a Very Thin Ovangkol. No Problem! This bass is about 7 Lbs, and even though passive, sounds Great!

Next up is my 1998 Streamer LX, which survived Hurricane Katrina in 2005.

She was originally Blue, but after the storm, she was found with the headstock snapped off, the controls RIPPED out the front of the bass, the finish 99% removed and a Huge Crack in the body. The original owner received $800 to "repair" the bass. He bought new Gold hardware, a NOS left handed 1998 neck, and Bassline pickups. She is covered in a Primer Sealer, and sounds AMAZING! A wood pick guard was used to cover the hole.

I've added the Cavity Cover, TRC, and have the correct MEC pickups and preamp, which I will be adding soon.

Next up is my 1996 Streamer Pro-M 5-String, The ProM Queen!

And Finally my 2005 SSI. The previous owner sent it to the "Custom Shop" and had Nordstrom Fat Stacks added, and the Hardware changed to the Satin or Pewter color. She looks and Sounds unique, and is the only Broadneck Warwick of any type that I have. So Far!

She is a True Player with Bumps and Bruises!

Yup. Yes it is :-)

The MM is splittable, either full or single. It allows to dial a P-tone to a"pseudo" MM tone, but I usually play everthing on full.
I bought the MM style Bartolini to mimick the Dolphin Pro1 at the time :-)

Here is my '91 SS1 Fretless. I just bought her used from the GC site. She still needs some TLC as there is some "baked in" dirt on the front that I'm still trying to remove. Also, there is a 1/8" gouge on the upper horn and an extra jack installed that doesn't connect to anything, but apparently USED to connected to the J pickup as that one doesn't work. Still sounds great, even with the one pickup.

I played this bass in the store in Cleveland about a month ago, very light and the neck was super skinny. Both pickups were working when i tried it out though.

I bet you got a great deal on that bass. Guitar Center sells a lot of Warwicks for less than you'd think and are usually willing to deal with there are problems.

Nice Streamers and Thumb :!:

What year is the SSII? It has a bigger body like the 5-string SSIIs from the early 90's > similar to my SSII-5, which is a '94… ;)

It's true that the body seems bigger on the SS2 than on the SS1. The bass is 900 grams heavier also: SS1/Thumb weight is 4.6 kg, SS2's is 5.5 kg!
The SS2 is a '92, the Thumb is a '98, and the SS1 is a '05.

Here is my New Prized Possession! 1993 James Earl Signature Model:

This is Not your Father's SS2! Those Ash Wings together with the Maple Neck and Boards make the 18-Volt 3-Band EQ Growl in Anger!!!

My Streamer Stage II basses - 1994 5-string and 1991 4-string.

These have been and still are my main go to basses since 1995 :D

Love the wood of your 5er !

Thanks bassmanklm!

Regarding the 4-stringer: I have owned 5 different SSII 4-string basses ranging from 1990-2002 models. Two of those five were prettier than my '91, but my '91 has a tone that just sings! So although my 4-stringer may not be the prettiest, it has an amazing tone like no other SSII 4-stringer I've ever played. That is why it is the only SSII 4-stringer that I still own! Below are a couple of pics of a '97 SSII 4-stringer that I owned that was definitely prettier and looks more like my 5er, but the tone was not as amazing as my '91 SSII. Cheers!
