Nice "Sad", but let´s try to keep this thread clean.... 8:

My apologies! I didn't meant to taint the thread! Allow me to provide some pictures of the P-Nut in an attempt to clean everything back up!

After 7 years since I am registered member on this forum, finaly I bought my first W bass. I own the Tubepath for about 4 years, but the LX since last week.

The rest of the gear consist in:
- the other two basses Ibanez SR1006EFM Prestige and Ibanez SR506
- Symetrix 501 compressor
- SWR Mr. Tone Control - 9 band semi-parametric EQ
- Peavey Tour 410 & 115 speakers

Just got my Streamer Stage II via UPS from Tech Junky today......may I just say....Holy crap!!!!!
This is the baddest bass that I have ever touched. So punchy and amazing. Perfectly balanced, awesome playability, and completely beautiful!

I know what you mean. most guys think I was crazy to get rid on my P-nut II 8/56 and pick up an SSII. It was like coming home. (flame suit on)

Welcome to the forum, George :-)
@ Mike, yeah, SSII is like a mad dog! Enjoy it, brother!

No, I get it. The SSII is always going to be a favorite of mine. If I had a Stage II 5 string, it's highly unlikely I'd have gotten rid of it. I absolutely love my P-Nut II, especially the tone, but the #1 reason I'll never sell is the sentimental value. When I went to check it out, it was just for fun since I knew I couldn't afford it. My wife saw how much I loved it though, and she actually convinced me that we could afford it and that I needed to get it. She's always been cool with me going through instruments, but never went so far as to convince me to buy an instrument when I was fighting it.

Howdy, I've been offered this as a trade against a Studio preamp I have. Of course i'll try her first, just wondering for anyones thoughts…..
ps….. maybe this is the wrong forum for such advice????
Thanks

Looks like a nice SSI at a fair price. If your studio preamp is up to that value, and you want the bass, go ahead!

So to make amends for my posting of a Sadowsky, I figured I'd show it's replacement (yeah, it didn't last long. Absolutely great bass, but just didn't do it for me)....swapped for a 2008 Streamer Stage I! So far, this bass is amazing and everything I had hoped and more!

And of course, with it's sibling...

I now own a Jazzman and I bet that makes me a certified club member. :D

Great looking bass!

My first choice was a Stage 1, since it was described as having a mid-heavy sound a la Geddy Lee. But since I wanted a 5 and it's quite off my budget range. So I opted for the Jazzman instead.

Anyway, I just would like to ask how heavy the S1 5-string is. I haven't given up on it yet. :D
