So where are the "New" 2009 Rockbasses up on the Warwick Website?

No, the necks and bodies are not the same. Different factories, different machines.

What makes you think there's been a hold up?For all we know,they're ahead of time.The pics you've seen were from the Music Messe,not a dealers showroom.
The story so far has been;
They announced this news at the last Music Messe,early 09.
Production of these new basses was,& is probably still being phased in.
They then have to be packaged & shipped from China,to the distributors throughout the world.

Well it's sad to find out the new Rockbasses will prolly not be available this year...I was thinking of buying a Vampyre, but I'm not willing to wait until next year...will prolly buy something else (no W) instead...oh, well...

Hey all! I can't get this link to work. I have ordered one of the first Streamer LX4's in the states but I really want to see what they will look like. I was told by the dealer that they got rid of that obnoxiously large ROCKBASS text in exchange for the W and they also will have the two piece bridge. Is this true? If anyone has some pics, that would be greatly appreciated as well.

A double thanks for the pic and the welcome! Now I understand the price hike on the Rockbasses. Was shocked to see the US price for a Stremer LX4 was about $1,000.

End of June that bad boy should be makin' its' way to me.

does anyone know if the new rockbass series are going to be available in 6 string models?
 
That really sucks. Very disappointed, but I guess there's nothing to do but wait.

I don't think there's any concrete evidence of there being a six string, but I don't think Warwick will deny the public their budget six string Corvette. I mean, it's what we want after all.
 
nope, as far as we know, no 6-strings...

however, there will be a SZ signature rockbass... oh yes, there will...

factory somewhere in China that makes ALL
the signature model basses and geetars for
the Global Signature Model Geetar Industry.
