So where are the "New" 2009 Rockbasses up on the Warwick Website?

Well if the person really cares about the difference, they should be able to tell if it's a wick or a RB just using their ears. If they can't then they shouldn't bother wondering what's the brand of the bass.

So now, the only thing that will be different between wicks and RBs will be the woods used (and craftsmanship) ? Correct me if I'm wrong but all the other materials used (bridges, pickups, nuts...) will be the same ? I hope the chinese factory does a good job, if they prove to be good basses I might get one. Till then, wait and see.
 






Not claiming any insider poop, but just
observing globally .... often, what will
happen after the "2nd tier" product is
upgraded much closer to the "top shelf"
product, then there is a further upgrade
to the "top shelf" stuff, which restores a
distinct demarcation between the lines.

My guess, studying the current Warwick
offerings would be cool tops standard on
more models, and most of the 2-band
EQ's giving way to 3-bands ... kinda like
the FNA ... it's basically a Vett but it has
a cool top and 3-bands of EQ.

Well,they've been at it for several years now.I think if there were any bugs,they'd be sorted out by now.
 
This is the Rockbass pricelist from the website Max.

I cant vouch for it's accuracy though.Being new models etc.

I just realized it doesnt have the new models on it.
I'm sure it'll be done in time.I think the Shanghai Music Fair was the official release & that only ended 2 days ago.Keep an eye on the website,I'm sure an updated list will be alone soon mate.;)

humm, the lower horn of the new RB corvettes seems to be quite different than warwicks' one. the end of the neck too

Well spotted.
The RB Streamers are slab bodied,rather than curved,like the Warwick Streamers.;)
 
For some reason I always figured the Vamp was the flagship of the RB line, looks like it's the Fortress though.
 
You guys should have a look at Thomann. The "old" Rockbasses they still have in stock are cheap. Less than 200 euros for some of them.
 
Thanks for the heads up. I think it's for the RB Streamers though, the rest seem to be at the same prices as before.
