So where are the "New" 2009 Rockbasses?

I seen some postings of pics for the 2009 Rockbasses. When are they going to show up on the Warwick website?

I've been wandering this myself as well.

(Maybe it's a good idea they're not, my
wallet is thin enough as it is, lol.)

From What I understand they are to be released mid-2009... What we got at NAMM was just a teaser...

Yes, Patrick is right, they will be available a little bit later :-)

It's too late! I want a RB Corvette $$ NOW!

OMG, these actually are the new Rockbasses... :-o sorry guys, I've been away for a long time...

I have to get a couple of these $$'s

Dog, I need a Streamer and a Vampyre!

Good thing I got my visa renewed.

OMG, Time does fly, doesn't it? It seems like last week when the new line of rockbasses was announced and we're almost in the middle of May:eek:

What about them? any news?:)

Hey Orlando, they will be available at the end of the year. Still working on them to make them better and better :-)

Hey Flo! That's great, man... They already look cool, but nice to know they're even improving them:shock:

I guess I'm GASSING for rockbass fretless:P

actually I have heard on very good authority (some drunk indian on the reservation just outside town) that the new Rockbasses are all done and ready to go. The truth is (coming from the drunk Indian who was told this info by his spirit guide after a night of fire water and peote) HPW has all the new RockBasses stashed in his attic and is just letting the excitement build until everybody is about to go out of thier minds with anticipation, then he will pull them out and put them on the market. When I asked my drunken Indian friend (who by the way, I only had to pay a 6 pack of cheap beer and a pack of non-filtered cigaretes for the information) if the new RockBass was as good as everyone says it is, he told me, "Just filet them real thin, and pan fry them in a pan with a little butter and garlic, and they are the best bass out there; much better than big-mouth bass."

So there you have it folks, the true story about the new RockBass.

Soooo ....

There really are no "New 2009 RockBasses".

Apparently, there might be some new 2010
RockBasses, if the crick don't rise, the roads
don't wash out, and Jupiter aligns with Mars.

Twill be the dawning of the age .....

Yes, I'm absolutely sure I was there ........
Cuz I really truly don't remember !

I think the delay has to do with getting the terms and conditions finalized with the Hanser Music Group to handle Rockbasses and Wicks!;) Lawyer stuff!

But of course.
Actually building them, aquiring vast amounts of new hardware, changing the headstock design etc had nothing at all to do with it,right?

From a manufacturing stand point it's more cost effective to use the same parts for the Wicks and RB. The RBs are using the same hardware and logo parts as the Wicks now. The necks, body profiles are the same, just different wood. So I'll repeat....What's the hold up!
