Show Us Your Non- Warwick Bass Then!

Omg I hate you Hardy lol. Why didn't I play an Infinity when I was in NYC??? Such a dummy

I want the black infy!!
amazing photo. :O:O:O:O
I would too but i have no way to line them up safely

Been thinking about getting an 8 or 12 string bass lately. Do you ever really use it Hardy? I wouldn't want to buy one and never play it.

Octave stringers and fretless basses are exotic players. I plan to play the 8 string in the band. But now we have an organ there. Means it´s better to play a concrete tone. A ballad with 8 string and piano maybe would be fine. Check the vids of octave stringers in the web. If there is something you want to be able to play by yourself, get one. Otherwise the chance is big that you will not use it.

@jester

You're reported sucka! :D:p

New: Sire V7 Ash/maple
Old: Squier 1989. (Active MEC PUs and Preamp, Warwick Bridge, bone nut) and Warwick Corvette GPS 2016.

Don't like V7 yet - Sound is too dark (I put brand new Daddario Prosteels like on other Basses and acoustically Strings sounds OK) - will try to connect PUs direct to output jack to hear if they are the Cause before PUs replacement - maybe they are voiced that way and if that is the Case, they will be replaced. Or my Ears are used to MEC PUs Sound which is bright and pleasing to my Ears? Preamp helps, but still somewhat dark and undefined. Maybe Vol, Blend and Tone Potentiometeres (unknown resistance - they dont have anything writen on them) are to blame?

John Paul Jones used an 8 string (Alembic I believe) on Achilles Last Stand- my all-time favorite Led Zeppelin, song by the way. The bassist from Cheap Trick used a 12 string on the live version of Gonna Raise Hell if you want to listen how they work in the mix.
